Ahmad D Siddiqui1, Zahra S Sheikh, Delong Liu, Karen Seiter.

Abstract

The coexistence of the Philadelphia chromosome and inversion 16 abnormality in de novo acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) has only rarely been reported. We report the case of a 23-year-old man with these cytogenetic abnormalities. He is in a durable remission following intensive chemotherapy. The literature on this subject is reviewed.
