Abstract

Two novel tetradecanuclear hydroxo-lanthanide complexes, formulated as Ln14(mu 4-OH)2(mu 3-OH)16(mu-eta 2-acac)8(eta 2-acac)16, Ln = Tb, 1; Eu, 2; acac = acetylacetonato, were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and phosphorescence spectroscopy.
