Abstract
Until recently, almost everything known about the molecular controls of early neural development came from studies in amphibians. It is now possible to misexpress factors in chick embryos at relatively late stages in development, allowing careful dissection of the timing of cell interactions. This is starting to contribute significantly to our understanding of neural induction and early patterning.Entities:
