Abstract
Mitogen-induced T cell responses are suppressed in mice infected with larvae of Taenia crassiceps. The effects of experimental infection on specific T cell responses, however, have not been examined. In the present study, we demonstrate that larval-infected mice exhibit suppressed ability to develop anti-virus specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses while maintaining apparently normal natural killer (NK) cell responsiveness.Entities:
