Abstract
Fifteen minutes after the intravenous administration of two different doses of acetylsalicylic lysine, a pronounced inhibition of collagen-induced platelet aggregation was observed in healthy volunteers. A proportionate dose response to the differing doses could not be demonstrated. Platelet function investigated by the glass bead filter method according to Hellem decreased however significantly and dose-dependently after the injections. The clot formation in the thromboelastogram was not disturbed after the administration of the drug in spite of decreased platelet function.Entities:
