Abstract
The changes in the fundus of a 57-year-old patient (perimacular turbid retinal oedema, cloudy peripapillary exsudates and peripheral retinal hemorrhages) could not be interpreted satisfactorly on a clinical basis. Histologic examination revealed a retrobulbar optic neuritis associated with round cell infiltrates around the central retinal blood vessels impeding their blood flow.Entities:
