Prenatal diagnosis of pial-superficial arteriovenous malformation.

In the newborn, cerebral pial arteriovenous malformation has been recognized as a cause of congestive heart failure. Prenatal diagnosis allows early medical treatment of cardiac failure and increases the chance of successful neuroradiological intervention.
