Abstract
The Chrysosporium anamorph of Nannizziopsis vriesii, recently identified as the cause of cutaneous infections in chameleons and brown tree snakes, was associated with skin infections and deaths in salt-water crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) hatchlings on two separate occasions 3 years apart. In all, 48 animals died from the infection. All hatchlings came from the same farm in northern Queensland, Australia.Entities:
