Abstract
Pentagastrin or histamine were infused for 24 h by way of the abdominal vena cava or aorta into conscious rats bearing permanent gastric and vascular cannulas. The locus of infusion did not significantly affect the output and concentration of acid and pepsin, or the volume of gastric secretion.Entities:
