Abstract
The persistence of R. tsutsugamushi in tissues of experimentally infected mice for 565 days was demonstrated. Reactivation of apparently dormant infections was accomplished by inoculating the mice with a heterologous strain of the organism or treatment with cyclophosphamide.Entities:
