Abstract
A 49-year-old cardiac transplant recipient with idiopathic left ventricular systolic dysfunction was treated with carvedilol. After 8 months, his ejection fraction, measured by radionuclide ventriculography, had increased from 14 to 30% with an associated improvement in symptoms.Entities:
