Abstract
We report the first case of a patient with no history of diabetes or cardiac problems who developed an endocarditis secondary to a transrectal prostatic biopsy. Urinalysis prior to the biopsy was normal and the patient had a course of ciprofloxacin 2 hours preoperatively.Entities:
