Abstract
A previous study found that 61% of police officers said they had not received sufficient training to deal with problems involving mentally ill people. Training in this area can help police officers acquire awareness and understanding in order to aid the management of people with mental health problems. Police feedback on the training was largely positive, emphasising the potential for nationwide training on such issues.Entities:
