Poor communications, cultural barriers impacting quality of health care for minorities.

A new survey released last month by the Commonwealth Fund shows that for a range of health care quality factors--such as patient/provider communications, cultural and linguistic barriers, and access to health care and insurance coverage--minority Americans are not faring as well as whites.
