Abstract
Fungal infections involving the pacemaker pocket after pacemaker implantation procedure are extremely rare. This report describes the case of a 53-year-old woman with pacemaker pocket infection due to acremonium species. The authors emphasize that this patient did not have any predisposing factors to fungal infections.Entities:
