Abstract
We report the case of a female patient admitted for acute renal failure who required hemodialysis treatment using a tunneled femoral catheter. Abdominal ultrasound showed isolated gas in the hepatic veins. It was related to manipulation of the catheter, which allowed the passage of gas bubbles from the inferior vena cava into the hepatic veins.Entities:
