Hemoclip-gelfoam emboli in the treatment of facial arteriovenous malformations.

Abstract

Hemoclip-gelfoam emboli are more efficient than plain gelfoam for therapeutic embolization of arteriovenous malformations because of their weight and length. Additional advantages are ease of handling, fluoroscopic monitoring and suitability for conventional neuroradiological catheters.
