Abstract
A fatal injury of the brain from a penetrating air rifle is described. Deaths due to air rifles are extremely rare; only four other cases were found in the recent English-language literature. All deaths resulted from pellet wounds of the brain. The portal of entry for the pellet was the eye in two instances and the frontal bone of a child in the other two.Entities:
