Abstract
Studies reporting DNA polymorphism-disease associations represent an important source of information on disease gene candidacy. Such studies are, however, extremely variable in terms of their design and of the statistical methodology employed. Guidelines are therefore proposed that are intended to promote the publication of scientifically meaningful disease association studies through the introduction of sensible methodological standards.Mesh:
