Abstract
In this article we describe state-of-the art techniques for magnetic resonance imaging of the liver. T1-weighted, T2-weighted, and heavily T2-weighted pulse sequences are discussed. Gadolinium-enhanced hepatic parenchymal imaging and magnetic resonance angiography are also described. A comprehensive MR imaging examination of the liver affords evaluation of focal and diffuse hepatic parenchymal disease, biliary disease, and vascular pathology.Entities:
