Abstract
Non traumatic subdural hematoma secondary to dural metastases is a rare event but is well documented. We report a case of a 73-year-old man who presented a subdural hematoma secondary to dural metastases from prostatic adenocarcinoma. The diagnostic was made during the operation. The bone and the dura-mater were infiltrated by tumor cells. Mechanisms of transdural invasion by metastatic adenocarcinoma and production of hematoma are discussed and the relevant literature is reviewed.Entities:
