[Rare developmental disorders of the hip (author's transl)].

Abstract

Authors report on rare developmental disorders of the proximal end of the femur and of the acetabulum. The following cases are described: 1. Peculiar high situation of acetabular roofs. 2. Quadrangular proximal femoral epiphyseal nucleus. 3. Dysplasia epiphysealis capitis femoris. 4. A notch in the proximal femoral metaphysis. The significance of these developmental disorders is shortly discussed.
