Abstract
Popliteal vascular injury remains one of the most difficult diagnostic and therapeutic challenges for trauma surgeons. Only with strict attention to rapid diagnosis; early surgical treatment with meticulous technical skill; and aggressive use of various adjunctive measures, such as completion arteriography, anticoagulation, fasciotomy, and proper prioritization of management of multiple injuries, can limb salvage be optimized.Entities:
