Abstract

Spirituality can play a powerful role in recovery. This article explores spirituality in patients recovering from acute myocardial infarction (AMI). By understanding the influence of spirituality on recovery, nurses can help patients discover meaning and purpose in life after AMI and be a positive influence on patient recovery.
