Abstract
Hyperoxaluria is rarely considered as a cause of rapidly progressive renal failure. A case is reported of a patient in whom rapidly renal failure developed after subtotal small bowel resection. A diagnosis of calcium oxalate deposits nephropathy was confirmed by renal biopsy. This cause of renal failure may be underestimated and should be systematically searched for in all patients with malabsorption.Entities:
