Absence of papilloedema in cerebral tumors.

H V Crevel.

Abstract

Fluorescein fundus angiography in 10 patients with a cerebral tumour of considerable size but without ophthalmoscopic papilloedema does not support the hypothesis that such patients have in fact minimal papilloedema. Absence of papilloedema in these cases usually indicates absence of persistently high CSF pressure.
