Abstract
We report 17 cases of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency with drug-induced haemolytic anaemia. In most cases the drug involved was an antimalarial. However, we also found two cases in which other drugs could have been responsible for the haemolysis. The degree of severity of haemolysis differed in the individuals and most required multiple transfusions.Entities:
