Abstract
Using an intra-oral model the effects of restorations on adjacently placed demineralized dentine were studied. After 12 weeks in situ, glass ionomer induced hypermineralization of dentine, in particular at the surface in contact with the filling. Next to amalgam restorations the dentine was found to be further demineralized.Mesh：
