Abstract

[reaction: see text] The tetracyclic isogeissoschizoid skeleton has been prepared by a novel route that involves the ozonolysis and double reductive amination of a cyclopentene, a nickel-catalyzed cyclization, and a late-stage Fischer indole synthesis.
