Abstract
Pediatric poisonings account for significant morbidity in the United States each year. Clinicians must keep current with advances in toxicology to be familiar with the latest recommended treatment regimens and antidotes. They also must be familiar in identifying toxidromes and important physical examination findings. Having these skills can enable the clinician to determine who is at risk for significant morbidity or mortality and to provide the appropriate medical care.Mesh:
