Abstract

The inflammatory lesions in giant cell arteritis involve the cranial branches of the arteries originating from the arch of the aorta most prominently. The vessels are thickened tender, and nodular with absent or reduced pulsation. In literature sensorineural hearing loss and Horton's arteritis are rarely associated. A case of temporal arteritis presenting with sensorineural hearing loss is described.
