Abstract
Percentage prevalences of microfilaraemia (PPMF) and antigenaemia (PPCFA) were examined in 1999 in 3505 subjects from 3 villages in India. All microfilaraemics were positive for antigenaemia, and PPCFA was always higher than PPMF. Amicrofilaraemia among antigenaemic persons decreased steadily from 92% in the age-group 2-5 years to 40% in the age-group 21-30 years.Entities:
