Abstract
Synovial sarcoma is a malignancy not usually encountered in the head and neck region. We describe a case of synovial sarcoma of the posterior pharyngeal wall in a 14-year-old girl. The mass was completely excised via the transoral route. Postoperatively, the patient received irradiation to 60 Gy. At 40 months of follow-up, the patient remains disease-free.Entities:
