Abstract
Two cases of non-parasitic chyluria are presented each presenting with retention of urine. Abnormal communications in both cases have been demonstrated lymphangiographically. The thoracic ducts were patent and there was no evidence of filariasis. Surgical removal of the anomalous dilated lymphatics was carried out, the patients being symptom-free at 7 and 10 years. The two cases seem to have lymphatic malformations which may be the basis of the disorder.Entities:
