Abstract
In the period of the most expressed postirradiation (4 Gy) injury, the rats secreted volatile components capable of lowering the blood cells count in intact rats. This ability of the irradiated animals is not strictly specific for species since the depression effect on rats is exerted also by volatile components of irradiated mice. We suggest marking this phenomenon as postirradiation allelopathy.Entities:
