Abstract
A case of a recurrent ovarian mucinous cystadenoma in an 11-year-old, premenarchal girl is described. The treatment of choice was cystectomy, partly because of the patient's age and partly because malignancies are uncommon in this population. The operative approach can either be by laparotomy or laparoscopy when technically feasible. But it is important to keep in mind the possibility of recurrence even of benign cysts.Entities:
