Computed tomography in ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament in the cervical spine.

I Yamamoto, N Kageyama, K Nakamura, T Takahashi.

Abstract

Computed tomography of the cervical spine has been carried out on 21 patients with the ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament. There was a correlation between the shape and the extent of ossification and the type of myelopathy. Computed tomography is important for operative intervention.
