Abstract
Mouse tail scale epidermis was used as a model to evaluate anti-parakeratotic activity of tar oil acids (phenols) boiling between 175 and 400 degrees C. Lower boiling phenols seemed to cause more irritation, whereas high boiling phenols caused granular layer induction in formerly parakeratotic skin.Entities:
