Abstract
Granular cell tumors are benign neoplasms found most commonly in the head and neck, particularly the tongue. They have, however, been described in all areas of the body. Their presentation in the trachea is exceedingly rare, with their presence in the pediatric trachea being an even rarer occurrence. We describe a case of a granular cell tumor of the trachea in a 10-year-old boy with a dramatic, almost lethal, presentation. This is followed by a review of the literature, including pathology and treatment options.Entities:
