Abstract
Choosing the most appropriate easy chair for elderly clients is often difficult. The demands that need to be fulfilled by the chair chosen need to be identified and considered in order of priority. Benefits of good seating are identified, as are consequences of poor seating. Some guidelines are provided for choosing specific chair characteristics. There is discussion of the thought provoking points raised.Year: 2000 PMID: 11676790 DOI: 10.1016/s0004-9514(14)60314-7
