Abstract
Infrared bands at about 2200 and 2010 cm-1 in the spectra of heated synthetic and biological CO3Aps are assigned to cyanate and cyanamide ions respectively. The formation of these ions is associated with the presence of nitrogenous species in the unheated materials.Entities:
