Abstract
Two new methods, single-particle cryo-electron microscopy reconstruction and electron tomography, are increasingly used to visualize molecular machines in vitro and in the cellular context, respectively. Current efforts focus on the development of methods capable of visualizing molecular signatures in the cell, and first progress in this direction has now been made.Mesh:
