Abstract
Morbidly obese patients are already considered high-risk because of their comorbidities. Surgical procedures for obesity are, for the most part, completely elective. Careful counseling of the patient before and after the surgery is extremely important. This article reviews the general complications of bariatric surgery and specific complications of restrictive procedures.Entities:
