Abstract
Laparoscopic adjustable silicone gastric banding (LASGB) is a relatively new surgical procedure for the treatment of morbid obesity The most popular banding procedure is the vertical banded gastroplasty, however, there are risks involved in this procedure, including staple-line disruption and postoperative intractable vomiting. This article presents the advantages of using the LASGB device over former types of gastric banding.Entities:
