Abstract
A two-year-old greyhound was presented with progressive dyspnoea. Radiography showed a hypovascular lung pattern with hyperlucent lung fields and echocardiography revealed a large thrombus in the main pulmonary artery. Blood results showed azotaemia and marked hypoalbuminaemia. The dog's clinical condition continued to deteriorate and it was euthanased. Postmortem examination confirmed the presence of the pulmonary thrombus and revealed idiopathic membranous glomerulonephritis.Entities:
