Abstract
PURPOSE: We summarized previous and ongoing cancer control research among Cambodian immigrants in Washington. METHODS: A literature review of articles and published abstracts was conducted. FINDINGS: Cambodian Americans have a limited understanding of Western biomedical concepts and low levels of cancer screening participation. CONCLUSIONS: Culturally appropriate cancer control interventions for Cambodian Americans should be developed, implemented, and evaluated.
