Abstract
Pulmonary lesions and ureter involvement are rare complications of endometriosis. We describe the first case with an involvement of both sites in this condition. The radiographs showed "pulmonary metastases" together with clinical findings of a hydronephrosis, mimicing a malignant metastatic gynecologic tumor of unknown primary. A laparoscopy showed severe endometriotic lesions; therefore the findings were most likely related to the condition of endometriosis. The patient was treated with gosereline acetate for six months (Zoladex). Control radiographs showed complete regression of the pulmonary lesions and the patient is symptom free at 36 months after diagnosis.Entities:
