Abstract
A hundred and ten patients with brain abscesses have undergone surgical treatments: 8, 39, and 63 patients had aspiration, drainage, and removal of abscess with a capsule, respectively. Comparative analysis of surgical treatments revealed that removal of abscesses with a capsule was the most effective operation. Indications and contraindication to each surgical treatment of brain abscesses were defined.Entities:
