Abstract
A patient with giant-cell arteritis and non-bacterial thrombotic (marantic) endocarditis of the mitral valve is described. To our knowledge, this is the first case reported. The importance of revising the diagnosis of infective endocarditis when no pathogen can be demonstrated is emphasized.Entities:
