Abstract
The past year has brought a number of interesting developments in the world of paediatric and adolescent gynaecology. These primarily relate to the genetics of the biology of sexual differentiation, which is now beginning to gain considerable understanding. A number of case reports and surgical procedures have also been described, although they have contributed only minimally to our existing understanding. Data on prevalence has always been difficult in congenital abnormalities, and some data are also now emerging to support the figures quoted in the literature.Entities:
